– Invitation Closing Symposium –
On behalf of all of the 23 PrintValley partners, Océ and TNO have the pleasure to invite you to the closing symposium of the Dutch High Tech Top Project PrintValley. During this international open event we will share the results of the PrintValley project with many invited parties, and the program will provide ample opportunities for interaction and networking. Attached you find the preliminary symposium program and background information on the PrintValley project.
Within the PrintValley project, during the past 2 years, 23 Dutch parties have joined forces in the pursuit of advances in industrial printing technology and applications. We have shared our knowledge and challenges, and have worked on no less than 14 concrete business carriers (applications). Together we achieved significant progress and exciting breakthroughs. At the same time we created a large and successful Dutch eco-system centred around Industrial Printing. Although PrintValley as a Dutch High Tech Top Project will end on August 31st 2011, there is a clear intent to sustain and expand this eco-system. Industrial Printing, ‘Printing as a manufacturing technology’, and more generally ‘Digital Fabrication’, offers huge and exciting opportunities for the future of high-tech manufacturing in Europe. As such it connects to grand European challenges as defined in the European Research Agenda concerning the future of manufacturing in Europe.
The PrintValley symposium will be held on Tuesday June 28th 2011, at the Conference Center of the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
More than 60 parties across Europe will be invited and we expect over 200 attendees (the conference center allows for a maximum audience of 300). Please forward this announcement to colleagues in your organisation of which you feel that they should be informed.
